Two thirds of recruiters who are active on PSNs put their Company Page at the heart of employer brand development 09/17/2014
Recently, Viadeo conducted a large-scale study among recruiters and managers of French companies in order to gain a better understanding of how they use professional social networks (PSNs).
Among other findings, the results clearly suggested that recruiters who are active on PSNs are fully aware of the fundamental role that Company Page usage plays in employer brand development. Indeed, it was found that two thirds of them use a Company Page as the central element in their development strategies.
With this in mind, Viadeo has developed two new features to reinforce Company Page visibility:
- Company Page mini-profiles on personal profile pages
The new mini-profiles provide a brief description of a company and show information from the company’s Overview tab. Members can follow the company directly from the mini-profile and are also provided with links to the full Company Page and the company’s job offers.
- Suggested Company Pages window
Now, every time a member updates their profile, they are provided with a list of suggested Company Pages to follow based upon their own professional experience.
These suggestions are also available on other companies’ home pages.
