For over a year, mobile applications have been at the forefront of Viadeo’s development strategy. Today, Viadeo announces the launch of its new, fully revamped iPad app that provides users with an optimal tablet experience of the professional network.

“We wanted to break away from existing standards, so we decided to display all information in the shape of dynamic blocks.  We worked with a smart interface capable of pushing personalized data according to the profile and online behavior of each of our members,” says Matthieu Grosselin, Head of Mobile Product.


The new iPad features come as a result of a wide survey conducted by Viadeo among its members.*

According to the survey, 90 % of respondents claim they prefer to use their tablets in the evening. This led Viadeo to work on an ultra-smooth, simple and fun application that makes it enjoyable for users to manage their networks and business identities.

Because 60 % of people polled claim to use their tablets for business, the new iPad app showcases Viadeo’s Company Pages, a particularly useful resource for members looking for information on specific companies and preparing for business meetings.   This feature should become quite popular since 94 % of respondents wish to use their Viadeo tablet application to get information on leading companies in their industry.
